About me

It began many years ago, even before i knew the term man cave.  When I was a boy, living in a Chicago suburb, I had my bedroom all to myself where I had room dedicated to my hobbies, passions and technology.  Over the years, the room I lived in morphed into more manly designs.  I had gaming posters, an old CRT TV (which would be old today), third dimensional puzzles that I made a mini city out of.

When I discovered the term man cave (I don't remember how I discovered that term) in 2015 and saw what a room could look like, I got awed and inspired to start a man cave of my own.  I looked online for other man cave examples so I can get ideas to improve my man cave.  After all, a man cave is always a working projects that never ends.  I would buy neon lights, gaming and movie posters, a gaming PC, a PS4 fully loaded with Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Call Of Duty games, and even movie props.

Now, in 2025, I live in a studio coach house, bigger than the room I had growing up and the walls are saturated with man decor.  I have a Conan The Barbarian replica sword, a Pepsi mini fridge, a 4K entertainment set up, a PS4, a Nintendo Wii, and even the old NES and SNES system I had growing up (although they doesn't work anymore); a custom build Windows 11 gaming PC battle station, Japanese weapons, movie posters, gaming posters, neon lights dedicated to my favorite tech games and my favorite beer, and images of wrestlers and Jack Burton from Big Trouble In Little China on the walls.

The reason I decided to start this website is to give hardworking men in America and around the world inspiration to build their dreams into reality by having cave dwellers show their manly spaces either in video form or picture form.  You're men; building things and working with both your hands and mind are programmed into your DNA.  That's one things that separate us from the other gender.
